Fact Sheet: Acid Rain

A fact sheet is essentially a flyer with information about a specific topic, it must be organized and have specific information to be effective. The information needs to be visible and easy for readers to understand, having the perfect amount is key. Pictures are a great way to get to make the information easy to understand plus it makes the fact sheet look professional. Here is an example of a fact sheet about concussions in lacrosse:

For our class fact sheet project, I discussed Acid Rain and its environmental threats. Acid Rain is a mixture of wet and dry deposition (deposited material) from the atmosphere containing higher than normal amounts of nitric and sulfuric acids. Acid Rain is aresult from both natural sources, such as volcanoes and decaying vegetation, and man-made sources, primarily emissions of sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides resulting from fossil fuel combustion.
